The 98th Academy Awards turned into an unexpected K-Pop concert after the electrifying performance of ‘Golden’ from the ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ trio EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna. The singers had audiences swinging their lightsticks to the beats of the hit track and grooving in their seats as they performed a short 2 minute version of the song, while incorporating Korean culture and lore. Clips captured stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg, Emma Stone, Teyana Taylor, Chloe Zhao and many others enthusiastically waving lightsticks to the beats of the song. “Gotta give it to the crowd, they’re all going up for “Golden”” a fan said, sharing a stunning clip from the stands that the cameras did not catch.
