Shilpa Shetty lauded Ranveer Singh’s powerful performance in ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge,’ calling him a ‘Babbar Sher.’ She also praised R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt for their contributions. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has garnered widespread appreciation and achieved over Rs 500 crore globally within three days of its release.

As soon as ‘Dhurandhar 2’ hit theatres across the world, fans and netizens could not get enough of the film. Beloved celebrities across the country also could not hold back their excitement and cheered for Ranveer Singh’s latest success. Actress Shilpa Shetty also joined the bandwagon, as she gave an honest review of the second installment.

Shilpa Shetty praises Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’

On March 21, the actress took to her social media account to talk about Singh’s latest release, ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge.’ One by one, she praised several actors from the film, along with filmmaker Aditya Dhar for his “storytelling, honesty, and scale.”While talking about the ‘Padmaavat’ star, Shetty posted, “What a performance. @ranveersingh you poured your heart & soul into Hamza…and it shows in every frame. Absolute powerhouse. Aap Babbar Sher ho.” Other than that, she also praised R. Madhavan for his on-screen presence, saying that, “@actormaddy…uff! No surprises anymore – your sensibility is something to truly learn from, a class act!”

Shilpa Shetty calls Rakesh Bedi’s role social justice

In the same post, she also heavily praised veteran actor Rakesh Bedi and his acting in ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge.’ She tagged the 71-year-old in the post and wrote, “proof that true craft is timeless. Your journey feels like poetic justice.”She continued her post and lauded Arjun Rampal. She stated that he gave a “menacing” and “magnetic” performance as the main antagonist, Major Iqbal. She even called it one of his best performances. She also complimented Sanjay Dutt’s acting, saying that he owned the frames “like a rockstar.”Concluding the post, she wrote, “Dhurandhar feels like a cult in the making. Patriotism that stirs and entertains. Single-screen energy in a multiplex era…whistles, claps, goosebumps! Kudos to the entire team! Long, but totally PAISA VASOOL. Must Watch. They say – No guts, no glory. Time to bask in it.”Many other celebrities, including Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt, Rishab Shetty, Ram Gopal Varma, and several others, appreciated the movie. Speaking of the movie, within three days of its release, it crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally, according to Sacnilk.
