Dedication on display: Standout performances in the 40–49 category at Times Internet half marathon

At the Times Internet Half Marathon, every category saw brilliance born out of dedication,an event that brought together countless faces, each with a unique story of discipline, effort and passion for running.In the men’s 21km (40-49) age category, Pramod Kumar took first place and a chip time of 1:19:26. Kumar has been running for more than ten years and started his running journey as a fitness program in his village and over time developed into a dedication towards becoming more competitive. Kumar also appreciated the overall organization of the event.Naresh Rawat was the first runner-up and finished with a chip time of 1:20:27. Rawat is 46 years old and began running three years ago for fitness and now it has became a lifestyle to keep him committed and stay active.Second runner-up Einar Benediktsson reflected the competitive depth of the category.For Benediktsson, running is a way to stay consistent and push personal limits. He views races as an opportunity to improve while enjoying the experience of the sport.The 40–49 category highlighted how endurance and commitment go beyond age. Participants brought not just performance, but stories of consistency and personal growth. As runners took to the roads of Delhi, the event went beyond competition, showcasing a shared commitment to fitness and perseverance.The Times Internet Half Marathon once again demonstrated how running continues to bring people together, united by the goal of better health and continuous self-improvement.
