CRPF Constable Technical posts registrations 2026: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) opened the registration window for the Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) vacancies 2026 on the official website, crpf.gov.in on April 20, 2026. The registration window will close on May 19, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website to register for the CRPF exams. According to the official notification, the vacancies are distributed as follows: 9,096 posts for male candidates, 79 posts for female candidates, and 20 additional posts under the Pioneer wing (on an all-India basis).
Who can apply?
Applicants must be Indian citizens. The age limit varies depending on the post:
- Driver posts: 21 to 27 years
- Other posts: 18 to 23 years
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to reserved categories as per government rules.Candidates must hold a Class 10 or Matriculation certificate or an equivalent from any recognized board. In some specific technical jobs, candidates might require certain other qualifications and working experience.
CRPF Constable vacancies 2026: Multi-stage selection process
The recruitment process will be carried out in multiple stages, beginning with the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates who qualify will then appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a trade or skill test relevant to the post. Shortlisted applicants will undergo document verification, and the final stage will be a medical examination to ensure fitness for the role.While candidates must qualify at each stage, the final merit list will be based on performance in the Computer Based Test.
Application fee and salary
General, OBC, and EWS category male applicants will have to pay an application fee of ₹100. However, SC, ST, Female categories, and ex-servicemen applicants will be exempt from paying any fees.Applicants selected for the job position will be appointed at Pay Level-3 and their monthly salary will be ₹21,700 – ₹69,100, along with other applicable allowances.
