Directed once again by Homi Adjania, ‘Cocktail 2’ explores modern relationships amid emotional turmoil, revisiting tropes of love, friendship and heartbreak that made the original such a cultural moment. The spiritual sequel is set to release in cinemas on June 19, 2026. The original ‘Cocktail’ was written by Imtiaz Ali and directed by Homi Adjania. It starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty, the latter making her acting debut in the film. It went on to rank among the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2012.
