NEW DELHI: Several major storylines emerged from Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League action, as heavyweights stumbled while others strengthened their title credentials. Manchester City suffered one of the biggest shocks of the round, losing 3–1 away to Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt, while defending champions Paris Saint-Germain were edged out 2–1 by Sporting CP.
Arsenal continued their perfect run with an impressive 3–1 win over Inter Milan, and Real Madrid produced a dominant 6–1 victory against Monaco.At Aspmyra Stadion, Manchester City were stunned early as Kasper Hogh struck twice within two minutes, scoring in the 22nd and 24th minutes to put Bodo/Glimt firmly in control. Luis Suárez put Sporting ahead in the 74th minute before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia equalised five minutes later. However, Suárez struck again in stoppage time to seal a dramatic win.
