The internet was left shocked after news came out that d4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has been banned from Twitch. This happened just after he was charged with very serious crimes, including the murder of a teen girl named Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Many people online are talking about this case, as the situation is both confusing and disturbing.D4vd, who is 21 years old, was arrested on April 16, 2026, in Hollywood Hills. A few days later, on April 20, he was officially charged with first-degree murder and other crimes. Soon after this, a post on social media confirmed that his Twitch account was banned. While Twitch did not clearly explain the reason, many believe it is directly connected to his arrest and the serious charges against him.

Twitch ban comes after murder charges in Celeste Rivas Hernandez case

The case is about a 14-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who had been missing since 2024. Police say she went to D4vd’s home in April 2025 and was never seen alive again. Months later, her remains were found in his Tesla car, which had been taken by authorities earlier. This discovery made the case even more serious and sad.Following an extensive period of almost seven months of investigation, law enforcement has found evidence linking D4vd to this crime, and prosecutors have alleged that he has been charged with first-degree murder under unusual circumstances, for which there could be serious consequences, including life imprisonment, or worse, execution. Nonetheless, the accused claims that he is innocent and plans to defend himself through legal processes. It must be noted that prior to the accusations made against him, the man was considered a rising music star and a Twitch partner. In addition to that, some of his live streaming broadcasts involving the girl attracted attention due to her young age.For now, much of what happened is still unknown since the investigations into the case are ongoing. In the meantime, D4vd continues to stay in prison without the possibility of a bail while being prohibited from streaming on Twitch.
