As of now, the film has earned Rs 3.45 crore at the box office. The numbers are expected to increase as the day progresses. With that, the film’s total gross collection is now Rs 23.27 crore, while the net earnings stand at Rs 19.245 crore, including Rs 3.75 crore from paid previews.

The movie has become one of Akshay Kumar’s highest-grossing opening-day films post-pandemic. ‘Sooryavanshi’ is at the top of the list, while ‘Housefull 5’ occupies the second spot with a Rs 24 crore net collection.For those unfamiliar, Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar’s last collaboration was the 2010 film ‘Khatta Meetha’. Meanwhile, ‘Bhooth Bangla’ is also the last screen appearance of the late veteran actor Asrani. The film was scheduled to arrive in theaters on April 10; however, the makers pushed it to the 17th to avoid getting caught in the ‘Dhurandhar 2’ fever.
