Avika Gor opens up on moving Bangkok for husband Milind Chandwani's career growth: 'Don't think I should stop his growth’

Avika Gor, who is most famously known for her role in ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, has, as per the latest reports, bought a house in Bangkok along with her longtime partner Milind Chandwani. In one of our latest interviews the actress opened up about how and why the couple decided to make this massive shift in their lives. She also reassured everyone that while she has shifted to a foreign country, this will not affect her work in Indian television and cinema in any way.Here is what the actress had to share.

Avika Gor reveals why she and Milind Chandwani shifted to Bangkok

While in conversation with Hindustan Times the ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actress opened up about why she and her husband have officially shifted to Bangkok. The actress cited that “We’ve moved to Bangkok and even bought a house there, which I’ve been setting up as per my taste.” She revealed that the two made the move because of better work opportunities for Milind, as well as a mutual discussion.She also detailed during the interview that the 2 have been together for a long time always supported each other’s career options. “If I get a project that takes me away for months, he supports that completely. Similarly, I don’t think I should stop his growth either,” she quipped, adding that being supportive of one another has helped the two of them stay strong in their relationship.Gor and Chandwani have been in a relationship for around 7 years, and officially tied the knot last year in September in an intimate wedding ceremony.

Avika Gor on whether this will affect her work in India or not

The actress was also to comment about whether the move would affect her work in India or not. She revealed that she does not need to have a “base” in Mumbai to work in the Indian film and TV industry. Shifting to Bangkok will not have any effect on her career as per the actress. On the work front, Gor will be appearing on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ next and will also be travelling around for the show.She also added that, “The priority will always be my commitments because those are the things that made me who I am today.” She also added that everyone around her has supported her in this shift and that there will be no hindrance in work. “When somebody wants to work with me, they should make that effort,” she concluded.
