AP Inter results 2026: Recounting, reverification window opens April 20; supplementary exams from May 21

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has announced important next steps for students after the declaration of the AP Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 results, today, April 15, 2026. These include options for recounting, reverification, and supplementary exams for those who are not satisfied with their marks or wish to improve their performance.

Recounting (RC) and Reverification (RV): Dates and details

Students who feel there may have been an error in the evaluation of their answer sheets can apply for:

  • Recounting (RC): where marks are re-totalled
  • Reverification (RV): where the answer script is checked again and a scanned copy is provided

The application window for both RC and RV will be open from April 20 to April 27, 2026.The board has stated that all efforts have already been made to ensure accurate evaluation, but this option is available for both first-year and second-year students who still wish to request a recheck.

Supplementary exams (IPASE 2026): Full schedule

Students who could not pass or want to improve their scores can appear for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) May 2026.

  • Theory exams: May 21 to June 4, 2026
  • Exam timings:
  1. Morning: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  2. Afternoon: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Practical exams: June 7 to June 11, 2026 (at district headquarters)
  • Other exams:
  1. Ethics and Human Values: June 5, 2026
  2. Environmental Education: June 6, 2026

Who can apply for improvement?

First-year students:

  • Students who have passed all subjects in IPE March 2026 can apply for improvement in their scores.

Second-year students:

  • Students who have already passed but want to improve their marks must appear for all subjects again, including practical exams. Their previous performance will be cancelled.

Fee payment dates

Students must complete the exam fee payment for IPASE 2026 through their colleges between April 20 and April 27, 2026.In simple terms, students now have three clear options: apply for recounting, go for reverification, or appear for supplementary exams. It’s important to carefully choose the option that best fits your situation and complete the process within the given deadlines.
