US President Donald Trump on Wednesday appeared as a “special guest” during the White House press briefing and listed out his accomplishments during the first year of his second tenure as POTUS.Here are the top quotes from his address:
- “These are our accomplishments,” Trump said while displaying a thick file of documents.
- We have a lot of accomplishments. As you know, this is the first anniversary, and it has been an amazing period of time. We have done more than any other administration has done by far.
- Biden had the biggest inflation in the history of our country. But we have brought it down to normal numbers.
- We created super-high economic growth, and America is booming.
- On Tariffs, Trump said, “I don’t know what the Supreme Court is going to do. Tariff is probably less severe than what a license could be. I don’t know where there’s a case even there, but we’ve taken in hundreds of billions of dollars, and if we lose that case, it’s possible we’re going to have to do the best we can in paying it back. I don’t know how that’s going to be done very easily without hurting a lot of people. But we’re waiting for that case anxiously.
