Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind, Sneha Reddy meet Sritej’s family after 'Pushpa 2' stampede; Promise educational support

Allu Aravind and Sneha Reddy recently visited the residence of young Sritej and extended support to the family, which is still coping with the aftermath of the tragic incident linked to the premiere event of Allu Arjun‘s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ in Hyderabad.As reported by Money Control, during the visit, they enquired about Sritej’s health and spent time with his family members. They reportedly offered emotional reassurance and assured the family that they would continue to stand by them during the child’s recovery process.

Allu Aravind assures educational support

During the interaction with the family, Allu Aravind promised educational assistance for Sritej’s younger sister. Reportedly, he told the family, “Study well, I will bear all the expenses for your education.”Reports suggest that the Allu family, along with the production banner associated with Pushpa, has been helping with Sritej’s medical treatment expenses ever since the incident occurred.The family has already received financial assistance earlier, and support is reportedly continuing as Sritej undergoes rehabilitation and long-term medical care.

Allu Arjun’s fan page shares video from visit

A fan page dedicated to Allu Arjun shared visuals from the visit on social media platforms.The fan page wrote, “Allu Aravind garu and Allu Sneha garu personally visited Sri Tej’s residence today, extending their heartfelt support and assuring the family of their unwavering, lifelong support #AlluArjun .@alluarjunonline @allusnehareddy.”

Sritej’s father Mogadampalli Bhaskar’s previous statement

According to reports by TOI City, Sritej suffered injuries during the stampede that took place at the Pushpa 2 premiere event on December 4.After remaining in intensive care for nearly five months, he was discharged in April and later moved to a rehabilitation centre in Ramgopalpet for continued neurological treatment.Earlier in 2025, while speaking to TOI City, his father Mogadampalli Bhaskar said: “There has barely been any improvement in his health. My son still struggles to recognise us. He mostly just stares, with very little emotion on his face. He is currently undergoing speech and swallowing therapy. We are holding on to hope for his recovery.”Sritej was initially admitted to the emergency department in a semi-conscious condition after suffering injuries during the stampede outside Sandhya Theatre on December 4.Following the incident he reportedly remained unconscious for a prolonged period. He also developed respiratory failure and severe neurological complications, which required ventilator support for several weeks.
