Honda Dio 125 X Edition unveiled, launch soon: What's new

Honda is gearing up to expand its scooter lineup with a new variant of the popular Dio 125. Dubbed the Dio 125 X Edition, the model is now listed on the company’s official website. The new edition gets a few cosmetic as well as feature upgrades and is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. Here’s a quick look at what’s new.

Honda Dio 125 X Edition: What’s new

The most noticeable change on the Dio 125 X Edition is the fresh dual-tone paint scheme. It is offered in Pearl Siren Blue and Pearl Deep Ground Gray, with refreshed graphics. Besides that, orange-painted alloy wheels.Beyond the styling updates, the Dio 125 X Edition features a TFT instrument console that offers smartphone connectivity, including call and SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets features such as a USB Type-C charging port, a passing switch, external fuel filling, idling stop system, silent start and a side-stand engine cut-off.

Honda Dio 125 X Edition: Engine specs

Powering the scooter is the same 123.92cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor seen on the regular Dio 125. It produces 8.19 hp and 10.5 Nm of torque. Honda is yet to officially announce the launch date or pricing of the Dio 125 X Edition. However, it is expected to go on sale shortly.
