NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s Campus Placement Cell, in collaboration with the IGNOU Regional Centre Mumbai, will conduct a mega placement drive in Mumbai for students and alumni seeking employment opportunities across multiple sectors. The recruitment event will be held at the Confederation of Indian Industry premises in Kandivali East, Mumbai, with reporting scheduled for 10 am.The placement drive will bring together employers from manufacturing, e-commerce, healthcare, fintech, logistics, banking and human resources. More than 250 vacancies will be offered through participating companies, including Lucid, Blinkit, HDB Financial Services, Insta Courier, Electro Care India Pvt. Ltd. and ImpactGuru. The organisers stated that all positions are on-roll roles based in Mumbai.Eligibility and sectorsStudents and graduates from undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programmes are eligible to participate in the recruitment drive. Candidates with qualifications including BBA, MBA, B.Com and B.Sc may also apply. Both freshers and experienced applicants can attend the event. Organisers have specified that applicants should possess communication skills, basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn.The participating organisations are expected to recruit for positions including VP Commercial and Supply Chain, telesales executive, picker packer, senior telecalling officer, business development executive and HR recruiter. Multiple vacancies are available across these roles.

Salary details and documentsAccording to the placement notice, selected candidates may receive salaries ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 45,000 per month, depending on industry standards and role requirements. The notice also mentions incentives, performance-based benefits, career growth opportunities and continuous learning programmes.Candidates attending the drive have been instructed to carry an updated CV, original identity proof, recent passport-size photograph and relevant educational certificates. Registration for the placement drive will be completed through the QR code provided in the official event flyer. The venue for the recruitment event is CII, Kandivali, located on Akruli Cross Road No. 3, opposite Pioneer School in Kandivali East, Mumbai, Maharashtra.Event schedule and participationThe recruitment programme is scheduled for May 16, 2026, and will be conducted on a Saturday. Organisers said candidates should report at the venue by 10 am to complete formalities and document verification before interviews begin. The placement cell has invited IGNOU learners and alumni from streams to participate in the hiring process. The event is expected to include interactions with representatives from industries.
