NTA extends registration deadline for SWAYAM 2026 January semester: Check new date and direct link to apply

NTA SWAYAM 2026 January: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January 2026 semester examination. Candidates who have not yet applied for the certification exam can now complete the registration process through the official SWAYAM exam portal, which is, exams.nta.nic.in/swayam/.According to the official notice, the extension has been provided to enable more candidates to apply for the examination.

SWAYAM January 2026: Revised schedule

As per the revised timeline announced by NTA:

  • Last date for online submission of application form: May 13, 2026, up to 11:50 pm
  • Last date for successful fee transaction: May 14, 2026, up to 11:50 pm
  • Correction window: May 15 to May 17, 2026, up to 11:50 pm

Earlier, the registration process was scheduled to close on May 11, while the fee payment deadline was May 12.

  • Click on the SWAYAM July 2026 application link
  • Register using basic details
  • Fill out the application form
  • Upload required documents
  • Pay the application fee
  • Submit the form and download confirmation page

Candidates advised to review corrections carefully

NTA has asked candidates to make corrections in their application forms carefully during the correction window.
