The duo reunited on screen in Leo after a gap of 15 years, reminding fans of their iconic pairing. At the time during a press conference, Trisha had spoken fondly about working with him again, saying, “Vijay… it was like meeting a school friend again after a long time. There was the same comfort, love, and friendship. In my 20-year career, the most long-term journey I had with a co-star was with Vijay. They say home is not a place, but a person.”She had also described the shoot as effortless and enjoyable, adding, “Leo set was like that. I used to tell Lokesh, ‘It doesn’t feel like work – we all work much.’ But we were…it felt like a vacation.”Vijay, too, had praised her journey, saying, “It’s not easy for a young actress to stay at the top for 20 years, but Trisha did it with energy and beauty. She is our princess Kundavai. Best wishes to her.”

Throwback to a candid moment

Similarly, during an old interview of the duo from Coffee With Anu, Trisha had opened up about Vijay’s quiet nature on set. While the rest of the team would bond and spend time together, Vijay often preferred to sit alone, immersed in his thoughts. She had even admitted that his silence was something she found “annoying” at times, as it made him seem inaccessible. Vijay, however, responded in his characteristic calm manner, saying he was usually thinking about the scene—before returning to silence.
