The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the full schedule for the September to November 2026 cycle of Chartered Accountancy (CA) examinations. The timetable includes CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, CA Final, and two post-qualification member examinations.Candidates will be able to fill out the online examination forms starting from July 6, 2026 through the CA Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org.As per the official notification, Foundation and Intermediate exams will be held in September, while Final examinations and post-qualification tests will take place in November.ICAI has also confirmed that exam applications will be accepted only in online mode. Students will also get a short correction window to make changes in their exam city, medium, or other preferences after submitting the form.The institute has clearly stated that once the examination dates are announced, they will not be changed even if any exam day is later declared a public holiday by the central or state government.

ICAI CA exams 2026: Exam timings
ICAI said that most examination papers will be conducted for three hours from 2 PM to 5 PM. However, Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be held for two hours only.Final Paper 6 and the International Taxation Assessment Test will be conducted for four hours.Students will also get a 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM before the exam begins. This reading time will not be given for Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and post-qualification examinations.

For Indian exam centres, the Foundation exam fee has been fixed at Rs 1,500. For Intermediate, students appearing for a single group will pay Rs 1,500, while those appearing for both groups will pay Rs 2,700. For Final examinations, the fee for a single group is Rs 1,800 and for both groups it is Rs 3,300.ICAI has allowed students to choose either English or Hindi medium for writing Foundation, Intermediate and Final examinations.Candidates are advised to carefully check all dates and complete the application process within the deadline to avoid late fees.Read the official notice here.
