While CBSE class 10th results were declared in the first half of April, lakhs of students are still waiting for their Class 12 scores. However, both past trends and official clarification from the Central Board of Secondary Education indicate that there is no unusual delay this year. Data from previous years shows that CBSE Class 12 results are typically declared after May 10. In 2025 and 2024, results were announced on May 13, while in 2023, they were declared on May 12. The only exceptions were during the pandemic years 2021 and 2022 when results were delayed till July due to disruptions in the examination process. This pattern suggests that a mid-May result timeline is standard for CBSE, and the current wait falls within the usual schedule rather than indicating any delay. The Class 12 board examinations this year were conducted from February 17 to April 10. After the exams ended, evaluation began in phases using the digital marking system, which is designed to speed up checking and improve consistency.

Students can follow these steps to check and download their CBSE Class 12 result once it is declared:
- Visit the official website – results.cbse.nic.in.
- Click on the link for “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026” available on the homepage.
- Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth in the login window.
- Submit the details to view your result.
- The scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout for future use.
