Rukmini Vasanth has opened up about her excitement for her upcoming film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’. She described the project as unique in scale and ambition. The film stars Yash and is directed by Geetu Mohandas and is scheduled to release on June 4 in multiple languages.
‘Unmatched’ scale and vision for ‘Toxic’
As reported by Telengana Today, Rukmini emphasised that the film stands apart from anything she has experienced before. She pointed to its massive scale and execution.“The scale of it is certainly unlike anything that I have seen yet,” she said.She also highlighted the fresh cinematic world created for the film. According to her, the storytelling and visual universe feel expansive and ambitious.
Working with Geetu Mohandas and Yash
Speaking about collaborating with Geetu Mohandas Rukmini praised the originality of the project. She credited both the director and Yash for shaping a distinct experience with ‘Toxic’.“I just think that the world that our director Geetu Mohandas and our star Yash are building is just so expansive, so new—it feels really pioneering to me. So I’m excited to be involved in it, and I think I’m really excited to see how people respond to it and how they react to this new world,” she shared.
J.J. Perry praises team ‘Toxic’
Hollywood action director J.J. Perry has also lauded the team behind the film. He described his experience of working on the project as memorable and rewarding.Sharing his thoughts on social media, he wrote, “What an honor it was to work with the whole cast and crew on #Toxic Gotta send a big thanks to @thenameisyash, an incredibly talented actor with the best beard in the business! Looking back at her journey, Rukmini expressed gratitude for being part of the project. She also reiterated her excitement about its release.“I’m very blessed. Alongside Yash and Rukmini, it includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair in key roles.
