Harry Redknapp: Scarlett Moffatt Eliminated from ‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’ Before Finale |

Scarlett Moffatt evicted from ‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’ one day before series finale

Scarlett Moffatt has been eliminated from ‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’, just one day before the series finale. The ‘Gogglebox’ star, who was crowned Queen Of The Jungle in the original 2016 series, finished last in a crucial trial and was sent home as the last girl standing in the competition.“I felt like I was so close. I was the last girl standing,” she told hosts Ant and Dec on her way out.

How Scarlett Moffatt was eliminated

The challenge required celebrities to count coloured balls as they rolled down a tube while being showered with maggots, cockroaches, crickets, and mealworms. The five contestants were then asked how many blue balls there had been, with whoever’s estimate was furthest from the correct figure facing elimination. Moffatt’s answer proved the least accurate, ending her run in the competition.Thursday night’s episode also saw the celebrities take part in the Cyclone challenge, which required them to clamber along a water slide to reach stars while being pelted with huge balls and sprayed with high-pressure hoses. The group won the task, resulting in all of them receiving phone messages from their loved ones at home. They also enjoyed a breakfast of 10 eggs between them after successfully catching them from a large “chicken” roosting in a tree above their camp.

What Scarlett Moffatt said on her way out

Reflecting on her time in camp, Moffatt admitted the South African spin-off had proved more challenging than her victorious 2016 stint. “Just the trials. Who comes up with these? They’re sickos,” she said with characteristic humour. Asked why she returned, she said, “This show honestly means everything to us.”She added that despite the difficulty, “I’ve really, really had the best time.” Asked about her fellow campmates, she said, “We’re all as mad as a box of frogs, aren’t we? I just feel like everyone’s eccentrically wonderful.”When asked who she would like to see win, she was clear. “Please Mo. He is just the most wonderful human being. There’s not a bad bone in his body.”She also took a moment to address hosts Ant and Dec directly. “I just feel like growing up, I watched you two on SMTV Live, and hearing your accent made me feel like, if I wanted to do it, then I could, because of you. It means a lot.”

Who is left in the competition?

Moffatt’s exit sets up an all-male finale, with Olympian Sir Mo Farah, football manager Harry Redknapp, actor and DJ Craig Charles, and actor Adam Thomas now competing for the title of “ultimate legend 2026.”The final of ‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’ airs from 7.30pm on Friday on ITV1.
