Goddess Bagalamukhi is one of the eighth Mahavidhya’s. She is mainly worshipped by the sadhaks and tantriks. She is considered as the Goddess of protection and the remover of enemies. She is believed to remove all the illusions, enemies, confusion from the life of devotees. Devotees, who worship her with devotion get blessed with inner strength and power. Goddess Bagalamukhi is also known as Goddess Pitambara. Goddess Bagalamukhi represents the Stambhana shakti that neutralizes the negative energies and negative powers.

Symbolism of Goddess Bagalamukhi:

Yellow Color

Yellow color is deeply associated with Goddess Baglamukhi. Yellow color represents the solar energy as Sun symbolizes the energy, power and life force. This is the spiritual radiance and Sun rays can remove darkness from the environment and similarly Goddess Bagalmukhi also removes darkness and negative forces. She illuminates the world with the light and positive energy. Yellow is the color of knowledge and wisdom. This color brings clarity and cleanse your aura. Yellow color spice (Turmeric or haldi) represents purification and it is also offered to Maa Bagalamukhi.

You must have seen the idol of Maa Bagalamukhi in which she is depicted as holding the tongue of a demon. This means that Maa Bagalmukhi is the controller of enemies and demons.
