Sometimes a parent’s most successful milestone is their child’s achievements. Recently, a techie shared a heart warming video of his father reading his offer letter as he secures a job in Amazon. The father carefully and slowly, not just reads, but absorbs the words. However, it isn’t just the reaction, it’s years of a father’s resilient hard work that paid off.The now-viral post was shared on Instagram by Shailendra Yadav (@thessyadav_), who works as a Software Development Engineer (SDE-II) at Amazon. In the caption, Shailendra explains, “I come from a farmer’s family where access to proper education was limited, and I’m the first person in my family to become an engineer.” He further acknowledged his father’s sacrifices in shaping his path, and supported his education. The techie then shared insights and described that the moment in the video was when he showed him the offer letter for the first time. Shailendra wanted to surprise his father, that’s why he had not informed his father about securing the job. “His reaction was completely genuine.”Shailendra added, “For him, it was a moment of pride, and for me, it felt like giving back a small part of everything he has done for me.”Since then Shailendra Yadav’s video has garnered thousands of views and likes, with some users congratulating him, while others acknowledging the father’s reaction.Describing her son’s journey, one user praised Shailendra’s journey and commented, “Parents never expect anything from kids so when they get success, parents’ hard work gets rewarded.” One other user wrote, “Seeing your dad read your offer letter got me teary eyed.”
