BBMB Hindi translator recruitment 2026 deadline today for Chandigarh posts

The Bhakra Beas Management Board has issued a recruitment notification for Hindi Translator posts under Advertisement No. 01/2026, with the application window closing today. The positions are based in Chandigarh and are offered on a temporary basis under the level-6 pay scale as per the 7th CPC.Online application process will begin from March 09, 2026, and will end on April 19, 2026. The candidates are expected to qualify certain prescribed eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications and professional experience prior to submission of application form.Details about the vacancy and its eligibility criteriaIn all, there are six vacancies advertised for Hindi Translator. As per the eligibility criteria of this post, the candidates are required to be graduates with Honors degree in Hindi, English or law with Honors degree in Hindi, or those holding a master’s degree in Hindi and graduation degree in Hindi with Honors. Also, they should have at least three years of experience in translation work.Eligibility in terms of age is that the applicants should be at least 18 years and not more than 37 years as on January 01, 2026. Age relaxation is granted as per government policy norms, with three years for OBC candidates, five years for SC/ST category and up to five years for government servants.Direct link to apply online for BBMB Hindi translator postsApplication fee and mode of submissionThe application fee for candidates coming under the UR, OBC and EWS categories will be Rs 1000 whereas for ST category candidates, the fee is Rs 500. The fee can only be paid online while applying.The applicant must apply using an active email ID and mobile number, furnish the details, attach relevant documents, make the payment, and print out a copy of the application form. Government department employees must send their application form through proper channels till the deadline.Selection process and examination formatSelection of eligible candidates will include a written exam which consists of both subjective and objective types of questions. The candidates qualified for further process will then undergo document verification and medical examination.Date for the written exam has yet to be disclosed.
