The Hogwarts reunion no one saw coming, went down at a pre-Oscar party, when actress Emma Watson and Robert Pattinson were spotted catching up at the bash.Photos from the star-studded bash, saw the two actors deep in conversation, smiling and chatting away as the camera caught the epic click. Their reunion of sorts sparked excitement among fans of the ‘Harry Potter’ film series.Watson famously played the roled of Hermione Granger across the eight-film franchise, while Pattinson, appeared in the fourth instalment, ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. In his short but notable role, he played the Hogwarts champion Cedric Diggory.
Fans react to the Emma and Robert reunion
In the candid images soon went viral online with Potter fans going gaga over the mini reunion. One reacted to the pic saying, “Hogwarts Class of 2009 class members Cedric Diggory and Hermione Grainger discussing wizardry at the recent class reunion.”Other shippers of their on-screen characters wrote, “hermione and cedric diggory OMG.”Still another teased, “welcome back hermione granger and cedric diggory.”
Emma and Robert’s film slate
Both actors have left their wizardry days far behind them and have since gone on to build major Hollywood careers. Watson was last seen in big ticket films like ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Little Women’, while Pattinson has a long list of films in the pipeline like ‘The Batman Part II’, ‘Dune Part Three’ and ‘The Drama’ slated for its release.
About the pre-Oscar bash
At the party, Emma was also seen mingling with other Hollywood stars and also meeting Priyanka Chopra. Pattinson, on the other hand, was all smiled as he enjoyed a date night out with fiance Suki Waterhouse. The couple are parents to a baby girl, who turned two on March 2.

Just last week, fans of the Harry Potter franchise were treated to another reunion, when actors Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton reunited backstage. The two actors who played rivals in the hit film series, were all smiles as they hugged it out backstage at Radcliffe’s Broadway show.
