The Gravite is expected to be based on the same platform as the Renault Triber, but Nissan has worked to give the MPV its own identity. At the front, it gets a redesigned grille featuring the Nissan badge, along with generous chrome accents. The headlamps appear to be reshaped, and the bonnet features more pronounced sculpting. The side profile is likely to feature newly designed alloy wheels and roof rails. At the rear, the MPV will feature revised tail-lamps and a reworked bumper. Chrome detailing continues here as well, while the Gravite name will be prominently displayed on the tailgate.

Nissan Gravite: Expected engine

Under the hood, the Nissan Gravite is expected to share its mechanical setup with the Triber. It is likely to be powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder NA petrol engine that produces 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission options should include a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT.The Gravite is a key product for Nissan as it looks to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive and price-sensitive MPV space. Looking ahead, the company has also confirmed another model for the Indian market, the Tekton SUV, which will take on rivals in the crowded mid-size SUV segment.
