The episode begins with Maira getting shocked after seeing Armaan and Abhira at the engagement. A lady in the background comments that she knew Abhira would always return; however, she always wondered why the Poddars sent her away in the first place. As Armaan and Abhira try to console Maira, she runs away in panic. Disha’s family asks why Maira ran away after seeing her parents. Vidya tries to deflate the situation, saying that Maira was not invited because of her exams; however, she still came.
Damyanti refuses to start the engagement
The scene shifts to Maira requesting Abhira not to take Armaan away from her as she runs onto the road. Her parents roam around and search for her. Meanwhile, Damyanti says that the engagement will only start once Armaan, Abhira, and Maira are back, which shocks the family. Vidya tries to call Armaan; however, he refuses to answer the call, making Disha’s family suspicious.Disha’s family threatens to stop the marriage if Armaan does not return on time; however, Vidya gets angry and warns them that they cannot threaten the Poddars about everything. The scene shifts, showing that Maira has boarded a truck, and while Armaan and Abhira run to stop her, she refuses to talk to them.
Aryan convinces Damyanti to continue the engagement
At home, Madhav tells Vidya to stop her drama, while the family tries to convince Disha’s family about the engagement. Tanya tries to talk to them; however, Kajal intervenes and says that Aryan should be the one to talk to them.Disha’s family asks the Poddars whether something is wrong or if they are hiding something; however, Aryan stops their allegations. He tells Disha’s family that they have no right to interfere in Armaan, Abhira, and Maira’s private lives. After a bit, Damyanti gets convinced that the Poddars are telling the truth, and lets them continue the engagement ceremony.
Maira blames Armaan for everything
Armaan manages to run behind the truck and board it, however, Maira continues to blame him for everything. Armaan tells Maira that he was helpless and tries to explain the situation to her. Abhira feels that she needs to mend her relationship with Maira, and runs to catch up behind the truck. Maira comments that she already lost her mother, and now she has lost her father, too. This shocks both of them as Maira says that it is better if she goes away for good.The promo for the next episode shows that Maira realises that what she said to Armaan was wrong, and apologizes to her father. Abhira wonders whether her daughter will ever forgive her or not.
