‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ opens with Myra in pieces, telling Arman that Abhira never once stopped to think that Vani is the same girl who took her mother’s love away. She says she feels betrayed and asks Arman why she is in so much pain. Meher moves quickly to deepen the wound, suggesting to Myra that Abhira deliberately got Mukti admitted to her college, that she was using the Poddar house to give Mukti a comfortable life while pretending to care about them.
The Poddars turn on Abhira
Arman hugs Myra as she falls apart. Tanya tries to speak in Abhira’s defence, but Vidya cuts her off before she can say a word. Vidya tells the family she always knew Abhira’s nature and that her instincts were right from the beginning. She points at Madhav, Abhira’s biggest supporter, and asks how he did not know the truth about Mukti. Manisha regrets trusting Abhira again. Sanjay sides with Vidya. Manoj says Abhira cannot be Myra’s mother in any sense. Vidya announces she is throwing Abhira out of the house.
Mukti remembers, and the truth comes out
Away from the Poddar house, Mukti’s memory begins to stir. She tells Abhira that she is Myra’s mother. Abhira tells her she does not know what Mukti will call her, but both Myra and Mukti matter to her equally. They both break down. Abhira tells Mukti she hid the truth because of trauma and to keep Mukti safe. Mukti asks her who does that much for a stranger. She tells Abhira she is the best mother she could have asked for. Abhira calls herself a failure. Mukti refuses to accept that. Abhira tells Mukti that even their bond will now change because of what has come out.Mukti blames herself for Abhira’s suffering. Abhira tells her she failed to convince Arman and Myra that Mukti’s presence would not change anything between them. Mukti decides she will go to Myra directly. She asks Abhira to speak to Arman. Abhira tells her that until Meher is exposed, none of their problems will be solved. Mukti asks her to be careful. Abhira says she is more dangerous than Mukti gives her credit for.
Kaveri’s scheme is uncovered
Tanya asks Kaveri to rest. Aryan goes to get her medicine. Before anyone can settle, Vidya exposes the entire plan: Kaveri, Aryan, and Tanya have been working together to bring Abhira back. The family is stunned that Kaveri staged her health scare to manipulate them emotionally. Sanjay confronts Kaveri directly. Manoj asks how she could play with their feelings when they were genuinely worried about her. Kaveri tells them she only wanted a complete family and Arman and Myra’s happiness. Vidya says that happiness now comes through Meher, not Abhira. Aryan quietly tells Tanya and Kaveri that reuniting Arman and Abhira may now be impossible.Further, Mukti tries to stop Myra from leaving and asks her to stop blaming Abhira. She tells Myra the truth: her parents died because of Meher. Myra refuses to believe it. She says she wants both Abhira and Mukti out of her life entirely. Arman, meanwhile, continues to hold Abhira responsible for hiding Mukti’s truth, telling her she only ever thought about Mukti and never once considered how it would affect Myra. Abhira tries to explain, but the episode ends with Arman still not listening.Precap: Arman burns his wedding photographs with Abhira. Tanya and Aryan ask Abhira why she is trying to stop Arman and Meher’s wedding. Abhira tells them she cannot watch Meher bring danger to Arman and Myra. Aryan asks what her plan is. Abhira says she wants to attend Aryan’s wedding.
