Yash in dual role? 'Toxic' BTS visuals spark fresh theories, fans decode every frame
Behind-the-scenes visuals for Yash’s upcoming film ‘Toxic’ reveal a dramatic transformation, fueling dual-role theories. Fans are buzzing about his starkly different looks, reminiscent of his earlier roles, and the intricate process behind the change. The film’s teaser further intensified speculation about the narrative’s complexity and Yash’s portrayal of distinct characters.

The excitement around ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ grew stronger after celebrity hairstylist Alex Vijaykanth shared a behind-the-scenes video showing how Yash’s striking new appearance was created. It showcased the time-consuming journey to achieve the look, going from a long-haired, bearded appearance to a short-haired, smooth one. It showed the hard work put into achieving the look. In this case, it was a sneak peek for fans to show how much work goes into the final look.

Dual role buzz gets stronger after teaser

The ‘Toxic’ BTS moment followed immediately after the teaser dropped, introducing Yash in two completely different avatars. If you’re wondering if there is a dual role woven into the story, it most probably is! If Raya looked woolly, intense and almost primal, the other character, ‘Ticket’, was all about sharp shirts and even sharper looks. The clean-shaven style instantly reminded many viewers of Yash’s early film days. The teaser’s final line, “I’m home, daddy,” which mirrored the earlier “Daddy’s home” dialogue, became a major discussion point and increased curiosity about how these two characters are linked.

Fans celebrate the return of ‘Vintage’ Yash

As soon as the video was posted by hairstylist Alex Vijaykanth, it spread rapidly across social media, with fans resharing and celebrating the transformation. Many compared his appearance to his youthful charm in ‘Googly’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari’. Some reactions also addressed earlier rumours that the look was achieved through de-ageing or VFX, saying the BTS footage proved it was completely real. Admirers praised his energy, screen presence and the fact that he could effortlessly carry any style even now.

Visual transformation adds to film’s growing hype

More than a simple makeover, the video has deepened interest in the film’s story and emotional layers. Raya and Ticket could not be more different, but they are some sort of a couple, if only in name. Geetu Mohandas, who is directing the mammoth international-scale film, is being showered with information every minute.
