According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the incident occurred about 17 nautical miles north of Doha. The projectile reportedly struck the vessel above the waterline, causing limited structural damage. Authorities confirmed that all crew members were safe and no injuries were reported, while there was no environmental impact or oil spill. Earlier, Kuwait alleged that a drone targeted fuel storage facilities at Kuwait airport.
