NEW DELHI: Ahead of the big India vs Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup, fans in Kanpur have started praying for India’s victory. At a local temple in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, photos of Indian players were framed and placed as devotees offered prayers for the team to win the high-profile clash. India and Pakistan will face each other on Sunday at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
This match is one of the most-awaited fixtures of the tournament and is going ahead as planned after some earlier uncertainty.Watch:India, the defending champions, started their World Cup campaign strongly by beating the United States and then crushing Namibia by 93 runs.
