VIDA VX2 Plus KKR Edition unveiled: What's special about this e-scooter

VIDA, the electric mobility arm of Hero MotoCorp, has unveiled a special version of its electric scooter: the VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition. The biggest highlight is its design, which is clearly aimed at fans of the Kolkata Knight Riders. Here’s a look at what makes it special.

Hero Vida VX2 Plus KKR Edition: What’s special

The VX2 Plus KKR Edition wears the team’s signature Knight Purple and Gold colours, but in a subtle and well-integrated manner. It gets a pearl black base, layered with a golden halftone gradient and fine micro-dotted patterns across the body panels. There are also three distinct accent marks, representing KKR’s three IPL wins. VIDA has also introduced a matching limited-edition KKR helmet alongside the scooter. While the company hasn’t announced pricing yet, it has confirmed that the VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition will be available through select VIDA dealerships.

Beyond the styling, the scooter remains mechanically unchanged. The VX2 Plus is powered by a 3.4 kWh removable battery pack, paired with a 6 kW motor. It delivers an IDC-certified range of 142 km on a single charge and can reach a top speed of 80 kmph. Acceleration from 0 to 40 kmph comes up in 3.1 seconds.Charging flexibility is another key aspect. The removable battery setup allows users to charge it at home, while fast charging can take the battery from 0 to 80 per cent in about 60 to 62 minutes. A full charge using a standard AC charger takes roughly 4 hours and 13 minutes.Feature-wise, the VX2 Plus comes equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT display that supports connected tech. This includes turn-by-turn navigation, live vehicle tracking, geo-fencing, real-time ride data, and alerts for calls and messages. There are also SOS alerts and music controls, with additional features accessible via VIDA’s optional Edge Pack.
