The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the results of the Review Officer (RO) / Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Examination 2023. The result was released on April 5, 2026, following the completion of the multi-stage recruitment process.The main examination was conducted on February 2 and 3, 2026, with a total of 5,930 candidates appearing. Subsequently, the Hindi typing test for ARO posts was held between February 16 and 19, 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their selection status on the official website.
419 candidates provisionally selected
As per the official notification, a total of 419 candidates have been provisionally declared successful against 419 vacancies. This includes:
- 338 candidates for Review Officer (RO)
- 81 candidates for Assistant Review Officer (ARO)

UPPSC RO/ARO document verification pending
The commission has clarified that the result is purely provisional. Final selection will depend on the verification of original documents.Only those candidates whose certificates and eligibility details are found to be correct during verification will be formally recommended for appointment. A separate notification will be issued for the document verification process.
Cut-off marks and scorecards to be released soon
UPPSC has also stated that marks obtained by candidates and category-wise/post-wise cut-off marks will be uploaded on the official website shortly.Additionally, the commission has advised that RTI applications regarding marks or cut-offs will not be entertained, as this information will be made publicly available in due course.
