The Atlantic’s sources said that these conversations are happening inside the GOP administration, but that no final decisions have been made by US President Donald Trump. The timing of any possible departures is also unclear.The report does not say that any of these officials have actually been fired or that any formal resignation has been submitted. It only says that their names are being discussed by senior figures in the White House.The discussions come at a moment when Trump’s administration has already seen a number of high‑profile changes. Recently, Attorney General Pam Bondi was removed from her position by Trump, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was also replaced. This was already a major shakeup in the MAGA base. In the Charlie Kirk assassination case, Patel was questioned for announcing a suspect was in custody before it was confirmed. Moreover, three former FBI agents even filed a lawsuit saying they were unfairly fired while he was director. More recently, a pro-Iranian hacking group reportedly targeted Patel’s personal email, releasing older personal photos and documents.
