Territorial army TA recruitment 2026: Territorial Army has released a notification for the Territorial Army Rally TA Recruitment 2026, and there are 3806 vacancies available. The recruitment rally is scheduled to begin in March 2026 at Infantry Battalion centers. The centers are located in Amritsar, Ludhiana, Bari Barahman, Jalandhar, Surankot, Baramulla, Rajouri, Bareilly, Meerut, Almora, Ambala, Palampur, Shimla, Kota, Jaipur, Sri Ganganagar, and Delhi.For the recruitment drive, candidates who are interested in joining the Territorial Army need to participate in the zone-wise rally recruitment. The application form is available offline, and candidates need to refer to the notification. Eligibility criteria and educational qualificationsApplicants need to meet the educational qualifications, as specified for each position. For the Soldier General Duty, applicants need to have cleared Class 10 with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate and 33 percent each in individual subjects. For the Soldier Clerk, applicants need to have cleared 10+2 with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate and 50 percent each in individual subjects, including English and Maths or Accounts.For Tradesmen, applicants need to have cleared Class 10, except for House Keeper and Mess Keeper, where applicants need to have cleared Class 8. The applicants need to have a minimum of 33 percent each in individual subjects.Age limit, physical standards, and fitnessThe age range for applicants varies from 18 years to 42 years. The physical standards require a minimum height of 160 cm, a minimum weight of 50 kg, and a chest of 77 cm.The physical fitness test is worth 100 marks and includes a one-mile run and pull-ups. The candidates belonging to the age group of 18-30 years have to complete the one-mile run in 5 minutes and 30 seconds to secure full marks, while those belonging to the age group of 31-42 years have a little more time to complete the test. The candidates have to qualify in all these processes to move further in the selection process.The salary scale ranges from Rs 15,500 to Rs 69,400 per month, including allowances like DA, HRA, PA, MA, and risk allowance.Required documents and application feeOriginal documents along with two attested photocopies have to be submitted during the recruitment process. These documents include domicile, educational mark sheets, identity proof in the form of PAN and Aadhaar cards, character certificates, caste certificates, and photographs.The application fee for candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories is Rs. 100. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are exempted from the application fee. It can be paid through online modes or through e-challan.
