‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star recently talked about how she is in a healthy and happy relationship while talking during her ‘Two Ts in a Pod’ podcast with Tamra Judge. While she was not willing to share his real name, Mellencamp named him ‘Derek’ for the sake of the show and added that he is older than her.She also shared that the two have their own children from previous relationships, which has proven to be a challenge for them. “That’s the thing when you’re dating, and you’re both parents. Like, how are you ever supposed to get past first base? I have kids in my house. He has kids in his house,” she said.“I’m taking it slow with him. Normally, that hasn’t been my past,” she also shared, revealing that she wishes to go about things differently with this relationship.

Teddi Mellencamp reveals how her partner has helped her in her cancer battle

The reality TV show star is currently battling stage 4 cancer, though it is not bringing her spirit down because her partner is with her every step of the way. During the podcast, she revealed that he has been a big help, and is remaining optimistic about the treatment. She added, “He’s pretty good about it. He’s a relatively positive and logical person in general. But the thing that I like the most about him is he makes me laugh.”Mellencamp was diagnosed with cancer in October 2022 when a routine checkup revealed that she had a cancerous mole on her back. Since then, she has undergone multiple surgeries for her treatment. Her cancer has now reached stage 4 melanoma.
