The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the city intimation slip for the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Skill Test 2026. Candidates who qualified the written examination can now check their city of examination details by logging in to the official SSC website.The information has been published by the Staff Selection Commission through an official notice.
SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026 : City intimation details
As per the SSC notice, candidates appearing for the Stenographer Grade C and D Skill Test can view their exam city details through the designated login module available on the Commission’s website.The city intimation slip is meant to inform candidates in advance about the city where the skill test centre will be located. SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026 admit card
The SSC has clarified that the admission certificate (admit card) for the skill test will be released two to three days before the date of examination. Candidates will be able to download it using the same login credentials from the official website.Detailed instructions related to the skill test and admission certificate are already available in the examination notice issued by SSC.
SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026 dates
The SSC Stenographer Skill Test for Grade C and Grade D posts is scheduled to be conducted on January 28 and January 29, 2026.Only candidates who were declared qualified in the written examination are eligible to appear for this stage.
SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026: Test pattern
The skill test is qualifying in nature and is conducted to assess the stenography skills of candidates. Separate standards have been fixed for different categories.Candidates will be given a 10-minute dictation:
- 100 words per minute for Grade C
- 80 words per minute for Grade D
The dictation can be taken in English or Hindi, as opted by the candidate.Time duration of the skill test
SSC Stenographer vacancies
The recruitment drive aims to fill 1,590 vacancies in total:
- 230 posts for Grade C
- 1,360 posts for Grade D
Category-wise vacancy details include posts for Unreserved, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities.
