Going by the official numbers for the trailer, hit a record new high by becoming the most-viewed trailer launch in cinematic history. As per an official report posted on Variety, the trailer for the next instalment in the Spider-Man franchise scored an impressive 718.6 million views within its first 24 hours.

The trailer has now become the most-viewed trailer, surpassing the previous record held by ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, which had garnered 365 million views. As per the report, ‘Brand New Day’ hit this milestone in just eight hours of its release, clocking 373 million views.With this new record, the film’s trailer has also surpassed the total views for the trailer for ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’, which had collected around 475 million views in 24 hours. With the numbers finally in, ‘Brand New Day’ now boasts as the biggest trailer launch across all formats.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on July 31, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam across all premium formats.
