South Central Railway opens applications for over 2,000 apprentice posts under RRC SCR: Check direct link to apply here

RRC SCR Apprentice recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Cell of the South Central Railway has invited applications for the 2,801 apprentice posts. The recruitment, carried out under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1962. Officials said eligible candidates can submit applications through the Railway Recruitment Cell portal on or before April 11, 2026. The registration window opened on March 12, 2026.According to the notification released by South Central Railway, the 2,801 apprenticeship slots will be filled under the Secunderabad Division, covering several technical trades vital to railway maintenance and operations. The trade includes: AC Mechanic, Carpenter, Diesel Mechanic, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, and Industrial Electronics. The recruitment is being conducted strictly under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961. It governs apprenticeship training across industries in India.Interested applicants must submit their applications online through the South Central Railway recruitment portal before the closing date. The process includes four key stages: registration on the official portal, entering personal and educational details along with technical qualifications, uploading required documents such as a photograph and signature, and finally selecting the preferred trade options and completing the payment of the processing fee.
