Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel and Hanna Prater, an ex-student in industrial design, got acquainted when they were little children in the German town of Heppenheim, where they attended the same school. Their friendship blossomed gradually, and in the year 2005, they confirmed their status as a couple. Unlike the majority of sports world couples, who are in the limelight, the pair chose to be a little closer to their spouses and live, love, and grow away from the madding crowd and the media.

Sebastian Vettel and Hanna’s life: childhood stories and their blossoming bond

Sebastian and Hanna’s long road together embodies a tale of exceptional patience and fidelity. When Vettel’s career took off, winning four F1 titles between 2010 and 2013, Prater was there to keep him down to earth, the couple’s bond being the strongest during the next stages as he hit the heights. She intentionally slowed down her own career to be with him and then later to share their daily family life. In 2014, they had their first baby, which was their relationship’s new era. Over the years, they continued to grow their family and eventually welcomed three little ones.

Sebastian Vettel and Hanna’s married life and their public interactions

The couple of over ten years, Vettel and Prater, officially became husband and wife through a private ceremony in the early part of 2019. Their wedding was kept very much like their usual, low-key life with very little public fanfare. For Vettel, who has always been vocal about the family’s significance in his life, marriage was just a natural extension of the existing strong bond. Prater is the one who is always described as the supportive partner, and in fact, Vettel has given her the credit for being the source of balance throughout his difficult and hectic racing career.Their relationship is an example of a conscious decision to put personal lives ahead of fame. Vettel was one of the most famous people in motor racing, but still, Prater chose not to attend races or social events, giving their relationship another proof of their privacy commitment.
