Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is set to embark on an exhilarating new journey, greenlighting a high-octane action thriller in collaboration with renowned producer Dil Raju and visionary director Vamshi Paidipally. The cameras will roll in April 2026, with an exciting release scheduled for 2027.

After months of speculation, Salman Khan has finally locked his next big project, which will be his next film to release, probably after ‘Battle of Galwan.’ As per the reports, the actor has teamed up with producer Dil Raju and National Award-winning director Vamshi Paidipally for a big-budget action thriller, which is expected to begin shooting in April this year and will see Salman in a never-seen-before avatar.

According to the reports in Pinkvilla, the makers are planning to make the venture on a grand scale and will feature a massive ensemble cast from both Hindi and South Indian film industries. The makers are currently in talks with an A-list actor to play the female lead opposite Salman Khan. However, the final casting for the actress is still in process. A report further suggested that Salman has liked the script and the commercial ingredients it brings to the table. It’s a high-octane action thriller with a strong emotional core. Moreover, what excited Salman to immediately say yes to the project is Vamshi Paidipally’s vision to present him in a completely new avatar, with a distinct look.

The report further mentioned that the shoot is scheduled to begin next month (April 2026), and the makers are aiming for a grand release in 2027. Interestingly, after completing this action thriller, Salman Khan is expected to move on to a project with the filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.
