The firing outside Rohit Shetty’s home in Juhu has now turned into a major case. On January 31, four gunshots were heard outside his building in the evening. Police reached the spot fast and checked the area and started the probe.Soon after this, a post appeared on Facebook. The post said the firing was done by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang is already known for threatening famous names before. This message made things more serious because it also warned Rohit. He was told not to interfere in their matters. When he “did not understand”, they said they gave a “small trailer”. They also said that if he still “fails to understand”, the next shot will be fired “inside the bedroom”.
Crime Branch finds a new link in the case
The Mumbai Crime Branch has now found a new connection as per ANI reports. The report stated that a man named Asaram Fasle had supplied the weapons. He has been working with the Bishnoi gang for four years and he used to work as a garage mechanic. Asaram joined the gang after he was influenced by Shubham Lonkar, who is linked to the Baba Siddiqui murder case.Reports say that the Crime Branch said Fasle gave the weapons to Swapnil Sakat because Shubham told him to do so. The weapons then went to an unknown shooter. That shooter is believed to be the one who fired outside Rohit’s building. No arrest has been made of Fasle yet.
Young suspects picked up after the incident
On February 1, the Mumbai police detained five people. Their names are Aman Anand Marote, Aditya Gyaneshwar Gayaki , Siddharth Deepak Yenpure , Samarth Shivsharan Pomaji and Swapnil Bandu Sakat. The police think they may be involved in the firing.The Bishnoi gang made a Facebook post where members Shubham Lonkar, Arju Bishnoi and Hari Boxer Hasan Sambhu claimed the attack. They said they had warned Rohit earlier. They claimed he did not listen, so they did this to send a message. This claim is being checked by the officers now.
Why Rohit’s security is now very tight
Because of all these threats, Rohit Shetty’s security is now very strong. He is about to start the shoot of Golmaal Five and the shoot is expected to begin around February 15. As a safety step, a two-tier security team will now stay with him. Reports say more than 60 security people will be present on the film set. They will guard the area every day. Rohit is also keeping a low profile for now. He has even told close friends like Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar not to visit him during this time.
