RBI Office Attendant recruitment 2026: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has opened the application process and the recruitment process of Office Attendant posts is currently underway with the registration window closing today, February 4, 2026. A total of 572 vacancies have been announced under the RBI Office Attendant Panel Year 2025 recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website rbi.org.in till today.According to the official notification, selection for the post will be done through an online examination, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

RBI Office Attendant recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognised board of the concerned State or Union Territory. Applicants who are graduates or hold higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.Age limit:The candidate must be between 18 and 25 years as on January 1, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.Language requirement:Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the state or region they are applying for.

RBI Office Attendant recruitment 2026: Application fee

Category-wise application fee is given below:

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Persons with Benchmark Disabilities / Ex-Servicemen: ₹50 plus Goods and Services Tax
  • General / Other Backward Classes / Economically Weaker Section: ₹450 plus Goods and Services Tax

The fee must be paid online only.

RBI Office Attendant recruitment 2026: Selection process

The selection process includes two stages:

  1. Reasoning
  2. General English
  3. General Awareness
  4. Numerical Ability
  • Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates who qualify the online test will have to appear for the Language Proficiency Test. This test is qualifying in nature.
