‘Ramayana’ is one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema. The much-awaited teaser for Ranbir Kapoor’s film is finally out. Titled ‘Rama,’ the glimpse showcases grand visuals and introduces Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram. The teaser has received strong positive reactions from audiences. Produced by Namit Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film is planned as a two-part saga. It aims to present the epic on a global scale with a historic music collaboration between AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer.

The teaser mostly focuses on Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram. It carries the tagline, “Our hero, Our protector.” The visuals promise a large-scale narrative that looks theatre-worthy. Cast and crew of Nitesh Tiwari’s film
Ranbir Kapoor was spotted in Bandra with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra on April 1. This was just one day before the teaser release. He had recently returned from Los Angeles where the teaser was unveiled at special screenings. During the event, Ranbir spoke about the significance of playing Lord Ram.Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram. Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Sunny Deol plays Hanuman and Ravie Dubey is cast as Lakshman. Other actors in the film include Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha and Indira Krishnan. The project is backed by Namit Malhotra and DNEG.
