Rajpal Yadav has expressed heartfelt gratitude for the financial support he received from the film fraternity while dealing with legal troubles linked to his Rs 9 crore debt case, saying the love and assistance kept him going through the difficult phase.

‘Blessings were pouring in’

Speaking to Curly Tales, Rajpal described the support as overwhelming and coming from across the country.“Yes, truly. The entire country, the world—temples, mosques, gurudwaras, churches, children, elders, youngsters, saints… it felt like blessings were pouring in for me like a FIFA World Cup,” he said.“All that love—may it always remain. I will try to repay this debt all my life. Sometimes as anjan in the eyes, sometimes as manjan for the teeth, and sometimes as entertainment to bring balance to life—I will try to fulfil my duty.”

Plans to return contributions with ‘respect’

The actor also revealed that he is taking steps to return the financial contributions made by well-wishers.“We have told our team to take out full bank statements—from Rs 1 to Rs 1 crore—whoever has contributed, and match every detail,” he shared.

They tried to rebuild my world.”
