Raj B Shetty is set to make his Tamil cinema debut alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s new film, Pocket Novel . The Kannada actorfilmmaker, who has already debuted in Hindi and Malayalam cinema, will be entering Kollywood with Kumararaja’s third feature film after Aaranya Kaandam and Super Deluxe .The film, which also features Kishore, has music by Ilaiyaraaja. The director shares, “The composing is almost over. We are planning to wrap up the shoot in one schedule with small gaps in between. As of now, the plan is to release the film in the fourth quarter of 2026.”The story and screenplay of the film have been written by Andrew Louis, best known for films such as Leelai and Kolaikaran , and the web series Vadhandhi: The Fable Of Velonie . Among the technical crew are Nirav Shah as cinematographer and Yugabharathi as lyricist.
