Priyanka Chopra, who has been running on a tight work schedule, kicked off promotions for her Hollywood production, ‘The Bluff’. The actress, who plays a female pirate in the film, got the press tour off to a stylish start, by stepping up in high-fashion ensembles and embracing bold silhouettes. In a nod to the swashbuckling spirit of her character Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, the actress began the press tour this week, a week ahead of the film’s digital release. Taking to her handle, she showed off her pirate themed fashion-forward outfits.

In another standout look, she turned heads in a sheer blue dress. However, it was her bejewelled red parrot-shaped bag that stole all the attention and gave a cheeky and playful twist to her otherwise elegant outfit. She also wowed in a dramatic white structured gown, with wave detailing. Priyanka on her character in ‘The Bluff’In ‘The Bluff’, Chopra plays a fiercely protective mother, trying to keep her children safe from people from her past life. Sharing how the role resonated deeply with her on a personal level, Priyanka said to ANI, “It becomes interesting when you have a reason of why. For me, that why really was how far would a mother go to protect her child? I had just had my daughter, she was two years old when I started filming the movie. ‘Agar uske peeche koi aaya toh main toh todh dungi na insaan ko’. That was my North Star in this movie. In every scene, I just kept thinking about what I would do to make sure that my child, my family, is safe.”‘The Bluff, ‘ that also stars Karl Urban in a lead role, releases online on February 25.
