Pokimane, the popular Twitch streamer, has at last opened up about why she is no longer involved in her own snack company, Myna Snacks. Myna Snacks was launched in 2023 and features products like the Midnight Mini Cookies, which are gluten-free, GMO-free, and contain Vitamin D. Fans have been wondering what happened to the company over the last couple of years, as the company seemed to have vanished into thin air.In a TikTok video posted on April 1, 2026, Pokimane explained the reasons behind her decision. She said that her work as a content creator did not match running a business. “Unfortunately, the launch for that did not go as we planned,” she said. “It taught me that what it means to be a content creator is very, very different from what it means to be a business owner.” She also clarified that she did not take any profits from Myna Snacks, instead letting the money go to staff and other investments.

In the video, Pokimane said that her high-profile creator status made it hard to run the brand. “There are certain things that most businesses can get away with that you cannot do if you are creator-backed. As soon as I realized, ‘Oh, maybe this isn’t the right time for me to be the face of a product,’ I stepped away from the company and I let them continue operating as they pleased,” she explained.She also reflected on her other business experiences. Pokimane said she never made money from OfflineTV’s equity because she and her co-founders never sold the company. She also sold her stake in RTS, the management company she founded in 2021, earning “at least six figures.” She warned fans not to go into business with close friends or people you love, saying it can make things more complicated than necessary.From the comments of Pokimane, the audience is able to understand the reason why Myna Snacks ceased operations.
