Bihar Civil Court peon admit card 2026: The Civil Courts of Bihar (District Court) have released the admit card for the recruitment examination for Civil Court Peon posts. Candidates registered for the recruitment process can download their admit cards through the official website of the Civil Courts, Patna.The preliminary examination for the post is scheduled to be conducted on March 15, 2026 across multiple districts in Bihar. Applicants are required to access the admit card online as the authorities have confirmed that individual copies will not be sent to candidates.Examination scheduled across districtsAccording to the notice issued by the Office of the Convenor, Centralised Selection and Appointment Committee-cum-Principal District and Sessions Judge, Patna, the test will take place at designated examination centres throughout the state. Candidates must appear at the centre mentioned on their admit card on the date and shift allotted.The committee has stated that candidates will have to bear their own travel and other expenses related to appearing in the examination. It also clarified that the committee will not be responsible for any loss or injury incurred while candidates are travelling to or attending the test.Post nomenclature revised by committeeA resolution adopted by the Centralised Committee on March 27, 2025 modified the designation of the post mentioned in Employment Notice No. 04/2022. The position earlier listed as “Peon/Orderly” will now be read as “Attendant [Peon (General + Orderly)]”.The preliminary test scheduled on March 15 forms part of the recruitment process initiated through the employment notice issued for the Civil Court appointments. The recruitment drive covers several categories of posts in the Bihar Civil Court system.Recruitment process and vacanciesThe recruitment notification includes a total of 7,692 vacancies across multiple posts. These include 3,325 positions for clerk, 1,562 for stenographer, 1,132 for court reader-cum-deposition writer, and 1,673 posts for peon or orderly under Group D.Eligibility requirements vary according to the position. Candidates applying for the peon or orderly role must have passed the Class 10 matriculation examination. Age limits for the recruitment process are set between 20 and 25 years as on October 01, 2024, with relaxation applicable as per Bihar Civil Court rules.Steps to download admit cardCandidates can download the admit card by visiting the official Civil Courts, Patna website and navigating to the notification section on the homepage. The relevant link for the score card and admit card can be accessed there.After selecting the link, applicants must log in using their registration number and password. Once logged in, the admit card will appear on the screen and can be downloaded and printed for use at the examination centre.
