In a joint press briefing of Indian defence officials, Air Marshal AK Bharti reflected on the IAF’s decision to “strike where it would hurt,” pointing to the targeted assaults on major Pakistani airbases. DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai stated, “…We have been compelled to be in this situation and as you have seen, the armed forces of India, we are always prepared to face any eventuality…Whatever has to be done will be done.
