In his own words, he said, “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. Reports said Woods rolled his car while trying to overtake another vehicle. Police later found hydrocodone pills in his possession. These are usually given for pain relief. Woods has gone through multiple surgeries in recent years, including back and Achilles procedures in 2025.Because of this situation, Woods will not be present at The Masters. Augusta National Golf Club chairman Fred Ridley said they fully support him during this time.This is not the first time Woods has faced such issues. Back in 2017, he was arrested in a similar situation and later went to rehab.
