Paige Spiranac wrote, “I think we are all rooting for Tiger. Not as a golfer but more importantly as a person. None of us can fathom what he’s been through both emotionally and physically. Not excusing any behavior but I hope he’s able to get the help he needs in peace without the whole world dog piling on him in a very difficult situation.”Her message came after Woods finally broke his silence. In his own words, he said, “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”The incident happened in Jupiter Island, Florida. Reports said Woods rolled his car while trying to overtake another vehicle. Police later found hydrocodone pills in his possession. These are usually given for pain relief. Woods has gone through multiple surgeries in recent years, including back and Achilles procedures in 2025.Because of this situation, Woods will not be present at The Masters. Augusta National Golf Club chairman Fred Ridley said they fully support him during this time. This is not the first time Woods has faced such issues. Back in 2017, he was arrested in a similar situation and later went to rehab. At that time, he admitted he had tried to manage pain and sleep problems on his own.Off the course, things have also been in the spotlight. Reports earlier in 2025 linked Woods with Vanessa Trump. However, recent reports suggest there may be tension after this latest incident. Right now, the focus remains on Woods’ recovery. Fans, players, and people from the golf world are hoping he finds stability again.
